Taxes and other Fees

Does anyone know what sort of fees and/or taxes I can expect on top of my bill in the Washington, DC area?

Which jurisdiction DC, MD or VA? VA hasa 55 tax on communication services including satellite TV that began in january of this year. I am not sure about the other jurisdictions.

Right now I get charged like a "Franchise fee" and a few other things by Comcast, I assume that Dish has these sorts of things too?

Washington DC has a 10 percent tax for Programing, PPV, Leased Equipment

Dish does not have any franchise fee's,

In VA the 5% tax is all you will pay on top of your monthly bill. There is no "franchse fee" for DBS anywhere because there are no local franchisees.
