Dee Ann did you make it through all that weather ok.
Any of it show up at your place? Any one else in Texas see this stuff?

Pixl it rolled through about three this morning, fortunately not near as bad as our neighbors 250 miles northwest of us experienced. Some downed tree branches, a broken guy wire on the OTA antenna, a 30 minute power outage, and a half inch of rain here near Beaumont, Tx.

So no hail dents in the dish!

No dents from this last storm, but you can see hundreds of tiny dents, and only if you look at the mesh from the side. Both unimesh dishes have them from the 4 o'clock to the 9 o'clock position, none of them are very noticeable until you view them from the side. Do you think these tiny dents are affecting the signal quality enough to warrant the use of a rubber mallet and a 2 x 6 ?

Zeb,

I sincerely wouldn't think that they are sufficient to warrant trying to doctor them up. Sometimes it is best to just leave things alone if they are not creating a problem. But, it is difficult to tell. You would have to know what the signal quality readings were before and then after the damage and then ensure that you counted in any change to the dish alignment from the wind during the storm as well. You wouldn't want to assume that any degradation to the signal quality was soley due to the denting. If your signal reception is acceptable to you, don't mess with it.
