Chase Carey to speak & present. I am not sure if this is the same presentation as the one last year when the Slimline ODU was introduced as well as the HR20. Anyway, hopefully some more details on when the Satellites will launch this year as well as more HD programming info will be presented here. We shall see.

I didn't make notes, but not much discussion about HD - he did say it was important and the backbone of what they're currently doing, but no specifics or timeframes. Thought Liberty was happy with D*'s direction, didn't see many changes. A lot of discussion about competition and broadband - he made a couple of points, one that many customers look to their telco for voice and data, he felt they could fit in with TV, said it was a 3-5 year horizon before anyone would know how successful the telcos would be with their own video services. Many questions about merger/cooperation with Echostar - not very specific, he said they would do what made sense, but seemed to rule out merger/sharing of satellites, equipment.
One question about decline in customer service ratings vs cable - he thought it might be true in some specific cases, but not "generically"
