The ReplayTV Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) Service will be permanently discontinued on July 31,

After this date, owners of ReplayTV DVR units will still be able to manually record analog TV programs, but will not have the benefit of access to the interactive program guide. Effective immediately, monthly billing for the ReplayTV service to remaining customers has been suspended.
The industry conversion to HDTV is complete and ReplayTV DVRs are unable to take advantage of the wealth of HDTV programming. Please contact your service provider for current offerings.

I still have one active, haven't used in awhile... I wish Dish had purchased Replay and implemented it's MRV features instead of Directv...

I just registered so I could tell you and others out there that there may still be hope! I believe that WiRNS will allow you to continue using the replay. I just installed it so that I could run shell commands and update my IR blaster codes, and there is an advanced option to use an XML scraper and get guide data from somewhere besides DNNA (Digital networks). Looks like I'm finally going to get my service for free!

I have dish network. Wirns does not play well with Windows 7.

D&M Holdings, the Japanese consumer electronics company that owns ReplayTV, said it would keep the digital video recording service alive, reversing an earlier announcement to kill the product.

This is how I am archiving old VHS & Camcorder videos to EHDD, works better than my Hauppauge for this.

Fired up my old Replay 5040 (upgraded HDD's long ago) to archive the first episode of Under the Dome for a friend, here dvr didn't get it, got it of VOD in SD...
