Someone should buy Tivo and put them to the pasture maybe Samsung will..

Note: This surely belongs in the Home Theater equipment forum. Nobody should ever confuse TiVo or Samsung as entertainment providers (though it happens all too often).

TiVo must defend their technology or lose their ability to enforce their patents. For whatever reason, TiVo still seems to be leading the industry in innovation and wishing them to go away isn't likely to move us all forward.

Samsung needs to watch their step too as the Chinese are going to do to the Koreans what the Koreans did to the Japanese.

TiVo will have to think very carefully before going toe-to-toe with China Inc.
