Top 180-pentagon channel?

The way I read on the forum-If Im top 180-take my spare dish and point it at 61.5 sat(166 az) and run a cable and watch the Pent chan?I have a 500 in use and a spare dually.

you don't have to be top 180, just need to have a dish pointed at 61.5.

Pentagon Channel is available on all AT packages and Dish Latino 2 and up. But the channel is at 61.5. Some have reported the channel is available to all with a valid Dish receiver. Others tell me its not. Dish says you need a subscription.

I am getting it just fine (along with all the other 61.5 PA's) & I ONLY have locals/distants/SS.
I also get FSTV on 110 as well.

ALL PI's on the wings are available to all subscribed boxes, regardless of level. I have locals & WPIX and get the PI's on the wings (and that FSTV...which is blocked)

As for the "other boxes", I have a 5000 that was unsubscribed for about a year and still got the PI's on 61.5...until it took the new software a month ago..now I get "Smartcard not authorized"

I was getting the PIs with skyangel on 61.5 after cancelling E* until my new "yellow" card and now the PI's went bye bye, only thing I get now is the 580 and skyangel! Bummer I liked the Pentagon channel!

I just changed cards and I still get the PI's on 61.5 (just locals)

Note that the Pentagon station is also on 148 as channel 9405.
