For use of a 1.2 m or 1.5 m dish a common diseqC rotor won't last long .
So I made the Twoteck .
A idea from long time ago but never found the time to make a start .
Two identical disecq rotors at one shaft , solid enough for heavy 1.2m ChannelMasters and 1.5m Gibertini / Laminas dishes .
Its the first prototype , both rotors are modified (electronics ) also made arc enlargment .
The current of those 2 motors is too much for a receiver .
So I cutted inside the main rotor (upper one) the M+ and M- wires between the mainboard- and motorboard .
A cable from those wires goes to a external box with a relais interface .
The M+ and M- from the mainboard goes by diodes to the coils of separate East / West relais .
The contacts of these relais are powered by a 19 V 1.7 Amps laptop adapter .
Removed in the lower rotor the circuitboard , just connected M+ and M- on the motor .
Here you see a test with a 1.2m ChannelMaster extra loaded with a 5 lnb revolver .
In this test its turning from ± 85º West to Astra 19.2º East without any problem .

Was it hard to build? Just curious.
