I am using the VBOX which is not as good as I thought when I bought it.

I just got Uniden SQ590 receiver from a friend. I know I should be able to use it to move the dish (10 feet mesh) instead of using the VBOX. Is it hard? How should I do it?

He also gave me a blue box that says Video Cipher General Electric. Can I use it? To do what?

It probably wires simular to the VBOX. I've never seen a VBOX, so I'm not sure. Once you get it wired, use the menu's in the Uniden to program the sats. Not sure about the blue box, but it sounds like it's the VCII module. If it is, it goes in the back (inside) of the Uniden.
