Hi Folks, I'm new here, so please be gentle with me !!

No idea if this is the right place to post, but I am at my wits end,
and need some help.....

I've got a 10' mesh dish, a Uniden Supra rcvr and a Motorola
digital sidecar.

All was working fine, and then I moved a few miles from where
it was originally set up.
Lucky for me, there was a post already cemented in, so I just
remounted and aimed the dish, and when I was done it was
getting G0/24 and the digital music just fine.

I couldn't get back to it for months - too much else to do in
fixing this place up, no place to even put the TV/rcvr, etc. .

So, here I am, months later, TV is set up, DVD/VCR working,
time to reconnect the DISH !
Got the cable in place, connected it just as before - no signal.
WAAAAAH !!!

Here is the problem, which I confess I had once before, but
it was long ago, and I don't remember the solution !!!!?

I can't get ANY menu functions on the screen, either via coax,
or via a/v cables - just snow.
What I mean is NO call menu, no setup menu, nothing.
It is changing channels and reponding to the remote otherwise,
but I cannot get the call or setup menues onto the screen
AT ALL - please help, any ideas at all are better than my
empty brain !!!

Thanks, and Happy New Year !!

Welcome!
I moved this to the MPEG/FTA section. There are a few people who have C-Band and could help out.

I have a Supra at home...I'll check out how to set it up and get back to you. No C-Band up..just KU :)

Hi Mark,
You probably already done this
If your tv remote has a input button select it 2 or 3 times and see
if Your menu screen will pop up, You said you were getting music channels, you might have one of your video cables in the wrong place, bad connector, bad switch, you might have your rf switch on 4 and your tv on 3, or vise versa , like I said you've probably already checked all of these if they apply to your situation. keep us posted

The 4dtv fourm www.4dtvrocks.com would be a good place for help and for cool things in the o/o section, and you can get deals for programming from sellers that hang out there.

Make sure the all is connected well.
