unsure about hd equipment

i'm about to (finally) take the plunge and get hooked up with HD. is there any difference between equipment? i see best buy has a HD dish for around $50, but crutchfield has one for around $130. there also seems to be a few different HD receivers. are any of them better than another? my tv has a dvi input, i don't know if that makes a difference for the equipment i buy.

Just call Directv and order through them, anything you get will now be leased, you can't buy equipment outright. Directv should install the newest AT9 5 LNB dish for you and lease you the H20 receiver and/or HR10-250 DVR depending on what you want. Check the stickies at the top of the main Directv forum for the lease pricing structure.

Both dishes are the same, but the bestbuy one is cheaper

where are you located at, do you want Local Hd channels via OTA or from Satellite ?
