Upgrading from 722 receiver - -free upgrade?

I just talked to Dish about getting new remotes for my 722 receiver. The CSR said I am eligible for an upgrade for free in January when the new models are coming out.

Is that true? If so, what is the new model?

No new models I have heard about other than the whole house DVR, which I didn't think was ready yet. They may have meant the 922 which has been suspended from shipping till they can get the software to use Blockbuster.

I would contact a DIRT member and have them look into it.

Hi, DISH Network is not planning on releasing a new receiver in January so I am not sure what the CSR was trying to tell you. Did the CSR assist you with the new remotes?
