THis is actually the Fox station in Sacramento. Looks like my contact at Fox was correct when he said E* stopped negotiating and my E* contact would not confirm with me.

It would be funny if when your receiver is in Standby mode that you see the SETI screen saver, and its looking for aliens.

I have the Dish 211 Receiver, is there anything else special I will need to get the Pittsburgh HD locals when they become available. Will I need a different DISH to get the 118.7 signal?

Yes you will need a Dish Plus Dish to get them. They should upgrade you for free when they are available.

Ahh this is very bad news! Fox wants dish to give this channel full bit rate and dish said no right?

Since it's a 720p channel, that shouldn't be the problem. I think they want their full bandwidth to be available to viewers, which would include The Tube to be added as well. No other locals that I've seen have the digital subchannels uplinked either, so I'm thinking that is the issue with Fox40.

I do believe that all fox channels only brodcast in 720p

Nah, the CPU is probably too slow to be worth it, seti won't even run on less than a 686 so I can't run it on my k6-2 (586) linux server anymore.

what ever happened to Euronews Channel, the same thing that happened to INHD and RSN's in HD I supect?
iDoes Euronews still show up on the uplink list?

Is this new? As far as I know it's still chugging away on a little p3 that I have in the closet at home. Last I looked it just required a 500mhz processor or above.
