Using older Platinum UHF with the 522

I just purchased one of the older, boxier, platinum UHF remotes to use with my 522. I go through the normal setup (described here) and when I setup the remote for either TV1 or TV2, the icon switches to IR. The newer 'motes have a little chip you can flip form blue to green. Does anyone know how to get the older platinum remotes to function in UHF mode?

I'm pretty sure I bought the remote from the 510.

You will need an UHF-Pro remote for the 522.
The older platinum IR/UHF remote you got will only work as an IR remote on the 522.
They use different UHF frequency and coding.
