I have two older receivers and I was wondering if I could use them on my "other" two rooms.

I am getting HD receivers in my main two rooms, but I was wondering if I need to pay for the other two rooms if I have older receivers.

I have a Sony Direct TC Plus, model number SAT - B55 and my other one seems older and is a RCA DRD420RE.

Thanks!

Yes, they will work with the PhaseIII or 5 LNB dishes just fine; just add them to your account. You might be asked to upgrade the access cards depending on how old they are. I have a Sony SAT-A2 working on the TV in the garage which should be around 2 -4 years older than that B55.

You will pay $4.99 for each additional receiver on your account.:)

My opinion, the drd420 is a better receiver than the DTV model receivers anyway.
I love them models.
