Here you go: Linear Actuators, 12V Linear Actuators for Motion Control Applications Manufactured by Venture Mfg. Co. Still in business.
As for how good they are, I don't know.

I have an 18" venture actuator mounted on my 6' bargain C-band dish. My uncle had gotten a few of them (new in box) cheap at an auction in Wisconsin. When I told him I had bought a C-band dish, he gave me it to try out. I called the company to verify it would work with my dish, and they said absolutely. I have been using it for about a year now with no issues.
