Very interesting reads.

Why would anyone panic? We are aware of the transition schedule, services are relocating and we have hardware to mitigate the interference...
maybe not panic, but what about the services on the satellites that don't primarily server the US/Canada markets? I'm thinking 113W, 117W, and most of the birds east of 87W... I would think that they will continue using the entire 3.7-4.2 spectrum, right? (and even 3.6 on some of them)

As the quest for cellular bandwidth increases, we see an international trend to shift usage above 3.8GHz. Yes, I assume that some services will remain within these ranges if permitted in the region (and I would guess that they might receive a hefty savings on the link budget).

Many questions will be answered when the time comes... Will your downlink location will be affected or not? You may be beyond or your dish blocked from the line of sight of a tower operating in this band.

Makes me glad I live in the sticks, buys me a few years. Had to fire Sprint because of no cell service out here, switched to spectrum and got coverage, but doubt they will have 5g anytime soon here.
