How does VOOM work with an SD TV? Will I be able to view programming on my second TV? What about taping things on a VCR?

I'm moving next week and need to decide between DishNetwork and VOOM...
I've been lurking around here awhile and VOOM sounds pretty cool.

You will be able to do both. The stb will down convert the signal to 480i through s-video or composite which you can use for TV or VCR or both.

VOOMs stbs Are Great, You Can Watch HD And The same Time Tape On Your VCR Or Just Watch On Your SD TV. I Can't Do That On D*. I Can Only Do SD Or HD Not Both At The Same Time.

I got 2 Voom boxes and put one on my old 27" TV and my roommate is very pleased with the picture, it's as good as you'll get from a DVD. I wouldn't consider Dish unless they have channels you like because their SD PQ and lack of HD was why I dropped them.

Next VOOM Chat 3/30/04, tonight from 9pm-10pm EST

Problems with COAX out?
