WHICH EVERYONE IS EXCITED ABOUT.ITS AMAZING.BUT ...HERE I AM
WATCHING DAWN OF DEAD ON VOOM AND IT BLOWS AWAY EVEN THE NEW
DVD.HATS OFF TO VOOM!IS IT TRUE THAT HD TV IS BETTER THAN DVD?I READ
DVD IS 480P WHERE HD IS 720/1080. VOOM MONSTER IS BEST

I used to be frustrated a number of months ago when VOOM seemed to be soft compared to OTA or Dish. More recently, the HD has looked quite excellent - esp. on the movie services. Except for the "mosquito" syndrome, I've been very pleased lately. It has moved to where it once sometimes looked like DVD to very sharp. Last night, HBO-HD, CIN-HD, and even Chapter 2 on one of the first 10 movie channels all looked great! Wilt said they were working to tweak the quality. I'm glad I hung in there.

Yeah, I noticed the PQ as well last night. Even the Cinema 10
transfers looked totally awesome, just as good if not better than
OTA. Way to go Wilt! Keep up the awesome work. This is another
factor that will differentiate VOOM from Direct. When push comes to
shove, the company that puts the most bandwidth into each channel
will win the HD war. I was once talking with the Exec VP of VOOM
Marketing several months ago and he said VOOM used to transmit
25mbs. Last nigh it looked like when VOOM first started.
