This post concerns the many irritating and judgmental posts by
Robert Heitner especially those directed to Ken this week.

Robert, you should read Wilts reply to Ken to see that there is
another type of class other than low. Since when did Robert Heitner
become the self appointed arbitrator of which posts are worthy and
which are not? Why don't you just give us a break and let people
post without you commenting. Contrary to what you must think, we are
not all anxiously awaiting your next witty(not) response to anybody
who might have a comment that's not gushing with praise for VOOM.

I thought Ken's post was very well written and informative. It was a
little long but it seemed that was necessary to convey his story. The
most distressing part was people like you responding and including
the total text of his post over and over again. To top that off you
continued a running wearisome dialog getting more caustic with each
post.

It's not for you to tell people to like VOOM or shut up. Neither
is it your prerogative to tell them to quit comparing to D* or cancel
VOOM and switch. We all LIKE VOOM or we would have already
canceled. However, the constant reboots, PQ burps and belches and
other irritations of a service that is not yet ready for primetime is
very annoying and we all have a right to inform them of our annoyance
as often as we choose. If you don't like it.... well.... then you
know how some of us feel about your posts.

[VOOM] Re: Ken's post s and Roberts comments on them

Thanks charrasaqueado,
I did realize the post was long, but as you said it was necessary to
convey the entire story. One thing however, I did not complain about
the PQ, system reboots since I really am having no problems with
with the equipment anymore. You can be sure any outstanding
technical issues will get resolved by Wilt. He is a very hard
working person who you can trust to get the job done. The only thing
I was complaining about was getting ripped off $800 for four extra
receivers I ould not have purchased and VOOM not standing behind a
written promise made to me by a supervisor and being told that "oh
well, there is nothing we can do, he should have never told you
that". Well he did (and he is the best supervisor I know at VOOM),
and as soon has my moneyback gurantee was over and the $300 receiver
credit was used up, the billing department/corporate screwed me over.

My real reason for writing this that long post to the forum was to
help warn people to not trust anyone at VOOM (other than Wilt and
dragonldy_mom) even if you get something in writing because they
won't honor it. So with the DVR coming out, who knows what kind of
promises they will make to use. Whatever they say or promise to us
to make us purchase it will most likely change and not be honored. I
don't want anyone else to loose the amount of money I did. Some
people see it as bitching and crying, but that was never my
intention. I tried to deal with the company, but I got nowhere. My
only option is to sue them in small claims court where I will win,
but I hate to invest the time and shouldn't have too.

Thanks for understanding and sorry for the long post.

Ken
