Are there any guides out there for programming the VOOM remote?

I don't use the remote for my TV but I would like to make the volume work for my surround system. Is there a way to teach the TV buttons?

Here is the official programming guide for VOOM remote. You can program it to control your TV set and your VCR, but I don't believe you can use it with your receiver. It's not a learning remote.
