Voom Satellite Position?

I'm trying to help a friend decide if he has a chance of getting a clear shot at the satellite around some trees. How can I describe to him the position 0-360 degrees where the Voom Satellite is and also how far up from the horizon it will be 0-90 degrees? 61.5 doesn't mean anything to him. He is here on the West Coast.

We would need his zip code really, and he would need a compass.

Click your approximate location on this map and it will tell you the azimuth and the elevation to the Rainbow-1 satellite. Not very accurate, but good enough if you are looking for the line of sight.
