Doesn't Simon Fuller own it -not Simon Cowell. Fuller created the show and is the producer. But its strange that there are two "Simons."

They aren't the same guy.

No, Simon does not own the show. Many are confused, it is another Simon that created and produces the show. I can't recall the name, but it is on there every night.

I'd have to go back to the 18-49 demos, but over the past several weeks it is still getting something on the order of 30 million viewers. Even if it goes down by a million in any particular week, its ratings are so blasted high compared with ANYTHING else (a good week for Grey's Anatomy might get 22 million), its worlds apart.

The results show is just 30 minutes, so 22 minutes of air time, so that might be part of it. And the results show's ratings are always lower than the weekly performance shows.
