i dont kno if this has been posted before, but does directv carry wb 17 out of philadelphia in hd? i live near atlantic city, nj and im pissed cauz i dont get it in high definition????

WB and UPN were in an ongoing merger last time I read so smart business would be to hold off adding either on the local affiliate level until it all shakes out. Now adding a E/W national feed of each for ALL subs until then would be nice and just as smart IMHO.

At just around 60-65 miles you should be able to get them via the correct OTA antenna setup if they are broadcasting in full power digital.

Call Sign-----Channel-----City-----State-----Heading-----Freq

They only carry the major networks: ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX on the local MPEG4 HD feeds and also on the National HD feeds from NY & LA. Maybe they'll add them after Glendive, MT (last market) gets their network in HD.

I feel bad for folks who got mpeg4 but directv didn't mention it's only for the big 4. Some people do like pbs, wb, upn. Thank goodness for ota.

Yes they did, and it was also widely known information.
