Website suggestion

I came across this from another forum about "The Sopranos". I think it wouls d be a great addition here.

That's a great idea. I just added the ticker to my personal site.

I tried adding the ticker to my signature here, but it didn't work. Is there a way to add HTML code to a sig?

No can do, according to the signature editor in User CP, html code is off.

While the tickers may mean well we have had issues in the past with them and thus the reason why they are turned off.

Reason 1. - The make calls for graphics to other websitses besides SatelliteGuys in doing this it slows down the loading of pages for our members. IN the past when the external sites were slow or offline it caused oour page loads to slow down greatly and in some cases fail to load them at all.

Reason 2. - What looked like a harmless and actually helpful ticker was actually being used to track SatelliteGuys members and I even found out that this one company was willing to sell statistics and information on SatelliteGuys members to whoever would pay them for the info.

This is why we do not have this feature enabled. Thanks for your understanding.

Why are all of those going to a Webcam site?
