I was just wondering what Satellites i would be able to catch with a 8foot Cband dish??

Does anyone know if it would catch
Intelsat 907 at 27.5°W

What is your location, that goes a long way in determining what you can a can't get. I am going to assume you are in NA for now and my guess is you would need to be at least Nashville, TN, US or further east for any hope. That is my initial guess.

What transponder(s) on Intelsat 907 are you looking to get?

Is your setup C only or C/KU?

Here is the list of satellites in the typical NA range http://www.lyngsat.com/america.html

Pink = Cband only
Yellow = C and KU
Green = KU only (a lot of those are DBS)

I'm in toronto , Canada...

looking to get transponder

4048 on Intelsat 907.

This dish is only Cband

Lnb

thanks.... gonna try it out

one last thing, do you know what LNB Type i would use for Cband??

Universal 1
Universal 2
Single-SL
Single-SH
or
Standard

Also would i use LNB power on or off, or any other settings

For I-907 you'll need a feed horn capable of receiving circular polarity signals. Similar to the Chaparral Corotor II Plus Wideband

A Norsat or other c-band lnb similar to this one would be good.

Unless you are powering it through another recevier, power should be set to on.

I'm not sure what lnb i'm currently using , but I was able to get Intelsat 805 at 55.5°W before,, Do you think this LNB is there proper one to catch Intelsat 907 at 27.5°W??
