What channels would everyone like added to DISH?

I just wanted to ask this question, with the news Dish Network is adding six new Chinese channels. Couldn't they add something else new, (besides, porn, shopping channels, etc...

Everyone wants HDTV, I am just asking what kind of channels everyone likes.
What type of channels would everyone here like to see. (Movies, sports, general entertainment, other)

Please put specific channels you would like to see added below, if you have a long list please list them from best to least important!

Have you seen what Dish charges for those foreign channels. There must be a market at that price.

Well, you're right. Everybody wants more HDTV programming whether it's movies, sports, or general programming. The ONLY thing keeping me from upgrading from AT180 to America's Everything is the lack of compelling content of HDTV available on E*. (And yes, I do subscribe to the HDTV package, such as it is.)

So Mr. Ergen, why is it I feel like I'm not alone here?

They should add: Trio, Oxygen, NFL Network, NBA TV, Fuel, (available on DirecTV's TC Pack) and THE INTERNATIONAL CHANNEL (available on many Cable systems).

I'd also like to see Dish move the following channels from AT180 to AT120 to match DirecTV's comparably-priced TC Package ($40 w/locals): Hallmark, Fox Movies, National Geographic, Outdoor Life Network, and Bloomberg.

For HD, they need to add at least one more to the HD Pack, such as Bravo-HD; also Starz and Max HD to their respective premium packs; and finally, network HD a la the current CBS agreement.

nbchd - they need to work out a deal to have it for aleast the olympics that would be a big selling point, people like the olympics
voom hd channels - what ever happened to charlie buying some content from voom and placing it on the wings?

off topic, but if they would lower the prices for the monthly subscriptions for porn or let people prepay for the month without it going on their bill (that way the better half would not see it on the bill) and not charge them the 10.00 downgrade fee, then they would probably have a lot of takers.

How about Dish adds more to the AT60 lineup. Maybe move the "Dish music" down to the AT60 level, now that they have Sirus on the AT120 / AT180. Just a thought.

Dish can add more to the AT60 or AT120 lineup but the rates would probably go up as well, so watch what you wish for.

I would like to see GoodLife added along with those multiple weather channels that PrimeStar had and I heard there was another weather channel as well out there.

I would like the NFL Sunday Ticket (even though its not up to Dish). I would like more HD PPV.

In June SciFi an USA are suppose to start their 480p widescreen transmissions along with their new summer programming. It would be nice to have that added -- not HD but a definite improvement!

NFL Network definitely! NFL Sunday Ticket would've been a great addition, but probably would have to bid it away from DirectTV.

InHD 1 & 2 seems to have some good content on it, a number of baseball games during the week (in addition to lance armstrong junk 10 times a day). Anything to get more HD sports is a plus!
