What do you guys think of this BUD here?

So I talked to a local communication station and the engineer and he said I can have this dish as well as several others! He also is going to give me some sort of spectrum anylizer he said he no longer needs. He was actually happy he could help. I just need to find a couple friends to help me move it. I have a 6x8.5 trailer but not sure. I have to drive it about 3.5 miles. I think it is an 11 or 12 footer. Def bigger than a ten. No actuator but i think i can install one.

From the looks of it it doesnt look that old. Lol. I wish they would give me the one behind it too. It is an 8-9 foot fiberglass one with a motor and a c/ku combo lnb on it!

Does your trailer have sides? If not, you can cobble something up with plywood sheets or old doors to put the dish in on a slant on it's edge, and strap it for a 3.5 mile trip. At worst, you could split it in half, and nestle them together and slide it into the trailer on the flat edge. Or just remove it from the polar mount, and carry that separately in the back seat (so it can't roll and ruin the dish). I've moved an 11.5ft fiberglass dish in an 4x8ft trailer... Or have an adult in the trailer to hold it into place. Do NOT drive very fast! It can and will try to lift with wind, and blow out of the trailer. Make sure it's roped or something.

Personally, if I was YOU, I'd do whatever I had to do to move it in one single piece, as it's together right now. Even if I had to hire somebody to do it. It's not always easy to get a mesh dish back together perfectly, after it's been together for 20+ years, and then gets torn apart.

Is that a DH Satellite dish I spy in the background? What size is that bad boy? I think I see a seam in the middle. Is this one designed to separate into halves?

I will actually pay you money if you let me have that one. I've been in the market for another commercial dish.

That is the one dish they are using! They also have a 5 foot ku fiberglass dish. Wish my motor could swing it. Lol

They are using that one. It is like 8 foot i believe. It has a c/ku lnb on it.

I'm working on getting 2 10 foot DH spun dishes with multi-feeds from an unused cable head end location if we can come to terms on the price. I know there are other dishes on location, but won't know what they are until were on location.

Here's a dish mover attachment I made that mounts on my open car trailer. I've moved a few assembled 10 footers and also that 10.5ft Raydx that I have with this setup.

Oh, and the first one I used it on was the Winegard dish I moved from my old house 18 miles away to this new house back in July of 2000.
