I recently had a Directv installation. We get a pretty decent signal on 101 (about 90) but have a line of sight problem with 110 and 119. Our local channels come from Providence, RI which are beamed from 119, so we cannot get local channels.
I live in in southeast MA---North of Providence, South of Boston. Is there any way that I can recieve Boston locals since they are beamed on 101? Or would that be considered a distant local market?

You would need an address considered in the Boston DMA to get those channels. If cable offers boston channels you will be able to get them soon under the significantly viewed channel offer. But no one knows when it will actually happen.

Well I just did a little research and found out that my county is the only one in Massachusetts that is part of the Providence-New Bedford DMA instead of Boston. If I lived 1 mile north of here I would be in the Boston DMA. I guess I'm out of luck.
