I have a 508 and am about to replace it with a 622.... will I need to install a new dish? Although I have HD TV I am not sure I am going to subscribe to the HD Dish package....maybe just stick with SD for now.

Also will the new 622 receiver require use of both coaxel lines from the dish...because right now I have one going to another TV and receiver set up in our guest house.

If you upgrade to a DISH DPP LNB, the 622 can use one coax. If you do not subscribe to HD programming, you will have to pay a $6/month fee, They priced the 622 with the expectation that you will subscribe to HD programming.

You will need to use a DISH 1000 or install a 2nd dish for 129. Some areas cannot use the Dish 1000 and must use a 2nd dish.
