What's The Deal With Channel 231?

On August 10th, TBS moved from channel 231 to channel 139. Of course we know because it still says it on the guide and on that channel. Why hasn't Dish filled that channel yet? Now I may be naive but I know from here and watching "Charlie Chat" that there are a few channels that people keep requesting and since they have the room, what's the hold up? Anyone know what they are planning to do with this empty channel?

they changed the channel # for TBS, that techincally does not free up room for another channel, on the satellite.

TBS was actually on channel 230. Channel 231 being the next channel is being used to tell people about the move. The reason why channel 231 is used and not channel 230 is so that anyone with record events would not record an hour or two of a screen saying "you screwed up! Didn't you see we moved already?"

And as Matt states, there is no additional room for more channels just becuse TBS moved channel numbers. The same channel is on the same transponder. The only difference is that it is mapped to channel 139 instead of 230.
