to watch TV anywhere? Like on a laptop when you are travelling? I heard a advertisement on the radio and can't seem to remember the name of it. Now someone is asking here at the office and it is bugging me that I can't remember. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

There are two services I know of for cable channels-
Mobi TV and Smart Video.
I use Smart Video. Cost $12.95 per month and has lots of live channels like CNBC, Weather channel, Fox Sports etc as well as VOD clips from lots of sources.
I think Mobi TV is less expensive but offers less variety of programming.
I now use Sling box too but so far it seems to bog down the EVDO on Verizon. I think the EVDO service is much better configured for bursts of packet transfers than a stream of sustained data flow as would be required by the sling system. Sling is better when you can connect using a wifi connection.
Oh yes, I have it working fine on the wep network.
