When I set up my digital FTA system a year ago I didn't really bother scanning Galaxy 25. It was one of the last satellites that dish was pointed at when I stopped using it back in 1999, but there were more interesting things to do and I forgot to check it out. The other day I decided to add the new Galaxy 19 and couldn't find it. Galaxy 3C and Galaxy 16 are coming in loud and clear, with about 80-90% signal.

I'm missing my signal meter, and my receiver is too stupid to work as one without knowing the frequency/symbol rate , so I spent about two hours last night entering TP information in C and Ku mode from SatcoDX and LyngSat, sweeping the dish back and forth between Galaxy 3C and Galaxy 16. After trying every transponder I still hadn't gotten the signal meter to even move, it usually does something even if it won't pick up any channels. I even tried aiming the thing with a compass and doing a blind scan, but it didn't pick up anything. Did Galaxy 19 spontaneously combust or something?

Thanks mate, I've found the position but I'm only getting two channels, AMG on C and LATV on Ku, and those are barely coming in at 50% with a perfectly aligned dish and a pretty clear shot. May just be my cheapie receiver acting up again... I'm thinking of getting a new Pansat one of these days.
