SG2100: 1.9° / sec (at 13V) ; 2.5° / sec (at 18V)

SG2100: Plastic

One of those two sound best... depending on where you are located and what birds you want... If you go motorized you probably want as much of the arc as possible... those extra degrees will be useful, say if you are aiming for 148w or 30w... or maybe even further east if you are in a satellite's coverage area? Really depends on if you live east or west coast or are a mid-westerner like me.

I read about the DG240 on the Sadoun forum and decided to pick one up from Sadoun's eBay store. My question is on the Sadoun Forum it was stated that the DG240 had metal gears, but here it's listed as having plastic gears. Can I get a ruling if they are plastic or metal ?

Thanks !!
