Just got a syntex olviea 50 inch LcoS Projection TV. WHile the HD looks very nice and clear. (not as good as my CRT Sony Wega) and is very nice. The SD looks flat and a little out of focus or blurry. Colors are fine on SD just not crisp. Is it because I am used to watching a CRT screen tv>?

I went to Best buy today and saw the same non crisp fuzz on all the projections DLP or LCOS on SD, while great picture on HD.

Can anyone explain? Am I expecting better then you can get with projection>?

SD gives only a fraction of the picture information that a HD source does, therefore the set must extrapolate to display it at the native resolution of your TV.

It's like when you play a video clip from the internet and make the window larger.
