hello,

My question is this my setup is a 33 inch dish coolsat 4000 pro with an sg2100 motor. I wanted to know a reason why my motor stop taking commands from the box. Before anyone mentions it limits aren't the issue. And manual movement of the motor is possible but not threw the menu on the box. Any idea or solution would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and WELCOME to the SatelliteGuys.US FTA forum!

Sounds like it has worked in the past?

If so go back to your ZERO position on the motor and reset it using a paper clip. The directions should be in the manual. You push the paper clip in the hole the light will flash red then green again, at this point you can remove the paper clip.

I know this is a stupid question - have you tried resetting your coolsat? Turning it off with the switch in the back and turning back on?

usually that works the best...turn the master switch off on the back and then turn it on...had to do that the other day when my motor wouldnt move

I also have to reset mine every now and then . It would sometimes take off to the east until it made contact with the pole. I warped a dish before buying a $3 DC block to go on the other receiver. :no

hi,

By dc block do you mean you supplied power to motor externally? I have tried reseting
several times but no luck
