I am having a wierd problem trying to set up the second wire to my 622

Both sets combine 110/119 using sw-21 out at the dishes.

That wire runs 50 feet into my basement and combines with another sw-21 and 61.5, to the rcvr.

The first set works fine.

The second set is ALWAYS missing 110!

I've moved the 110 sat wires between them, still broken
I've replaced the sw-21 at the dishes, same problem

What could cause this? On the one that works, it says 'Sw21-3 sat', the broken one says just 'sw21'

Duh!

I did some reading.

The switch combining 2 of the sats needs to be an SW-21X, not an sw-21

Sw-21 only combines 2 sats. The sw-21x adds a few commands to allow the cascade of 2 sw-21 type switches.

so I did:

110 and 119 into an sw-21X, the output from that and 61.5 into an sw-21

Ok, If using Legacy set up to a dual tuner you need to have 2 sw 21 switches. You need to use either a legacy twin or a legacy quad and bring 2 lines from 119/110 dish in to the 2 switches...one line for each switch. For your 61.5 you need to bring 2 lines from a legacy dual all the way back to your 21 switches. In turn 2 lines should be conected to your 622. Run a switch check and it should be ok.
