Will PPV ever be possible with SC and EV in the USA?

I was wondering if PPV can be ordered on Star Choice's website?

From what I can see.... it cannot be ordered from EV's website.


Does anyone have an answer for those of us who prefer Canadian television?

Select "Order" underneath the movie you want to see. You will then need to enter your phone number and 4-digit PIN.

They will be using an interceptor. I was testing one of these. It relies on 3 way calling, so when your rcvr dials out, the interceptor, actually dials to a number in Canada, then it dials the EVU number and traffic cops the call.

So evu gets a canadian number, but talks to your stb

Worked pretty cool.

Course they could just give you the phone number and PIN on the account, and let you order online. But of course that would allow you to make direct changes yourself by calling the 416 number, and *gasp* save you the change fee
