Here is how to watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup with DISH.

Every four years, the FIFA World Cup becomes one of the most watched sporting events in the world – over 3.5 billion people tuned in to the 2018 edition in Russia – but this year, fans had to wait an extra couple of months. To nullify the excruciating temperatures reached in host country Qatar during the normal June time slot, the 2022 FIFA World Cup was moved to the winter months.

When is the FIFA World Cup: Sunday, November 20, 2022 to Sunday, December 18, 2022.

What time are the games at the FIFA World Cup: During the group stage, game times are 5am ET, 8am ET, 11am ET and 2pm ET.

What channels will broadcast the FIFA World Cup: FOX and FS1. FS1 is Channel 150 on DISH and is included in all of America’s Top channel packages, including America’s Top 120, 120+, 200 & 250.

What channels will have the FIFA World Cup in Spanish: Telemundo and NBC Universo. Telemundo is Channel 835 and NBC Universo is Channel 838. Both channels are included in all three DishLATINO packages, including DishLATINO Plus, Dos and Max.

Don’t have DISH yet? DISH just rolled out its 3-Year TV Price Guarantee (only a 2-year commitment) for new customers with packages starting at $79.99 per month for 190 channels.

Man, 5 AM, 8 AM does me no good. 4 and 7 would have been better. Why wasn't I consulted?!

And again, a victory for Flex Pack. Being able to sub to FS1 only when I absolutely have to. :)

You , the man Scott. Please, it is called Football!

If you don't get FS1, you can find a way to stream. You need a VPN service.
I attach a laptop to tv via hdmi cable. Change VPN to a country where a world cup game is freely available. Yes, the language is not English. But, who cares?
(Peacock shows them in Spanish to paid subscribers.)
One example:
Change vpn server to Turkey. use browser to go to:

Tüm Kanallar

(
canlitvizle.com/tum-kanallar)

Select 'TRT1' from first column.

Click the play arrow and the option (at bottom right, just like Youtube videos) to make it a full screen. A cold beer is optional.

There are other countries that allow the same setup. Do some Google search. The key is pretending to be in that particular country with VPN.

I didn't watch all the Saudi Arabia game, pretty much just the highlights and the 25 minutes of injury time. There was an incredibly awful head injury to a Saudi player, that'll likely require surgery. The impact occurred in added time, and so far the proportion of players falling to the ground and the time into a game in exponentially proportional. After the impact, the ref waited until the ball was out of play to tend to the Saudi player. The goalkeeper was waiving adamantly at the sideline for help. Then he goes to sit down, completely beside himself. The replay showed why as he went for the ball, as his teammate was in the same area and slammed his knee in to the defender's head. One of the worst things I've seen since I think Wayne Rooney took studs to the thigh and when Ryan Shawcross and Aaron Ramsey went for a 50-50 ball and Shawcross broke Ramsey's ankle.

Some of the commentators for Fox... I think I prefer it to be in another language. It can be quite awful. The commentary in the US v Wales matchup was terribly partisan and not exactly the greatest. They also miss things.
