hi anyone planning on taping any of the world cup games?....i want to records the games then tranfer them to a dvr

Why not just record them on the DVR and not only get better quality, but skip a step?

I don't think i'll record them, it's soccer. Even the best soccer matches are one-time watches because you know how it ends. Great to see the highlights once in a while, but not the whole match...

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I've been out of commission for a while. Is the World Cup going to be broadcast on VoomHD Worlds Sport channel? Might be the reason to finally pull the trigger on a ViP & going Metallic...

World Cup will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC. (I just posted the schedule in a thread above).
