Would this work with a reed sensor?

I found this on eBay.... satellite CHANNEL MASTER SATSCAN Model 6250 - eBay (item 140261968212 end time Sep-01-08 17:36:10 PDT)
...and I was wondering if it'll do a normal reed sensor or does it have to be one of those old potentiometer types? Thanks, all!

Dunno but I use a similar vintage MTI 2800 positioner with my dish, no issues. If you like it, go for it. I like a separate positioner instead of a receiver. I feel it gives me more control.

Thanks for the reply, Stogie. I'm going to go for it for my 7.5 footer...(the Toshiba moves the big one)
