[Connecticut] WPLR Morning Show to Hold Toy Drive Friday

Heritage Rocker 99.1 WPLR of New Haven's morning team of Chaz & AJ will be hosting a Toy Drive this Friday at the Webster Band Arena in Bridgeport. Chaz and AJ are asking listners to bring an unwrapped toy to the event which will feature entertainment from Kiss Tribute Band "Kiss Alive!" and comedian Jim Gallagher.

I wonder how much the death of WCCC has helped PLR. I have made the switch and it seems PLR is not strictly as classic as it once was. Are they going after the CCC listeners?
