XACT "Aquiring Signal"

I have XACT Stream Jockey w/Sirius Radion for auto and home with the boombox. No matter where I install the receiver I get the "Aquiring Signal" indication for about 5 minutes or more before it finds a signal. With the home boombox I have tried positioing the antenna in several place with the same result. When in the car I am getting the same and when first bought Stream Jockey, it was fine. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Any help is appreciated.

Unit could be going bad. I think there is was another thread a few down form this that the person said they were have a similar issue with an xact unit not sure if it was the streamer though.

If it worked fine for a while and started doing this both in the house and car I would lean towards a problem with the radio.

My Xact does this all the time when there are big trees lining the road I'm on - it will say Acquiring Signal every few seconds... very annoying.
