I will speculate the following:

NL

MVP: Pujols or Bonds -----> Bonds. He is the SF Giants team. Without him in the line up, I do not know where SF will be today.

Manager of the Year: Baker, Alou, or Cox ------> Cox. He has taken an Atlanta team to another Division winner. He has done it without Millwood or Glavine. The man has worked very hard to maintain the stability you expect from the Braves.

AL

MVP: I am not sure here. I have to think about it more.

Manager of he Year: Pinella, Pena ----> Pena. He deserves it and I do not see how he will not get it. Where was KC last year at this time? They have been competitive all year.

NL:

MVP: Barry Bonds - Pujols is good, but they are not even going to make the playoffs.

Cy Young: Russ Ortiz- A reliever shouldn't get the Cy Young. Ortiz has had a great year and should be rewarded.

Rookie of the Year Brandon Webb - Dontrelle Willis looked like he was going to walk away with this, but he has become a bad pitcher of late. I'll go with Webb. He's not had any run support, yet goes out there and gives his team a chance every time.

Manager: Bobby Cox - Unless the Cubs make the playoffs, Baker is out of the running. I'd go with Cox. I hate the guy, but you can't argue with success. The team changes, yet he still knows how to win.

AL:

MVP: Carlos Delgado - is there anything this guy can't do? Lots of home runs and RBIs.

Cy Young: Roy Halladay - just got his 20th win. He is getting better at the right time.

Rookie of the Year: Hideki Matsui - Yea he isn't a true rookie, but by the rules he is by far the best "Rookie" this year.

Manager of the Year: Ken Macha - Anyone who can win with the A's gets my vote. Tony Pena did a good job, but I think he has made some choices that have hurt the Royals.

James, I have to disagree with you on Ortiz. He is only in the top 5 of one category, wins. His ERA is average and he is playing on a very good offensive team. No shutouts, or complete games. All he has is wins. I love Gagne, but I agree about relievers. Mark Prior is my pick for Cy Young.
