Mixed in 5.1 oz. Bottles...

We have 2 Thanksgiving dinners on Thanksgiving day. For lunch, we go to my wife's Mom's & Step-father's. He always deep fries the Turkey and it's always perfect. Then, for supper, we go to my parents'. Mom does a traditional oven bake, which is still good, but the deep-fried wins hands down.

My Mom would like to do the deep-fried turkey, she just doesn't have the setup.

The wife already nixed that idea. Instead we're doing a typical oven bake turkey, although we're taking the next step in doing an apple, cider and rosemary brine overnight.

OK, I am dense or missing out on a regional term; but what is a supper?

Ha! At least in my family (and others) "dinner" could be referring to the mid-day meal or evening meal. For clarity, "supper" always refers to the evening meal. I'm sure there are variations on this theme according to your region.

Just to confuse the matter: supper: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supper"]Supper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Floris_Claesz._van_Dyck_001.jpg" class="image"><img alt="Floris Claesz. van Dyck 001.jpg" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a4/Floris_Claesz._van_Dyck_001.jpg/175px-Floris_Claesz._van_Dyck_001.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/a/a4/Floris_Claesz._van_Dyck_001.jpg/175px-Floris_Claesz._van_Dyck_001.jpg[/ame]
