Does Movie Pass include the VOD titles? I just rented A Dolphin Tale for the kids today for $7.99. I was thinking if that would have been included by paying $10 per month for the movie pass I would maybe sign up for that next time the kids want to see a movie.

No it does not. PPV and VOD are separate from BBMP. You can filter out the pay-for movies in the BBMP menu on the DVR by pressing *

Are new releases generally available in the DVD by mail at the same time they show up in PPV or VOD? Or is there a lag between the time a new release is on PPV and when it comes available in the mail?

New releases are available immediately through disc by mail. Depending on the PPV/VOD, it can take a couple days to show up (there are also some that will be on DVD that will not be available on PPV/VOD)

This is incorrect. My experience with new releases is a LONG wait....MUCH longer than Netflix.....and if you remove them from your queue....you get them anyway...in about a month in our case.

I think what Matt was saying is that the physical media is available to be shipped immediately to a certain number of subscribers. It stands to reason that not every single person who has a new release movie at the top of their queue is going to get it on release day regardless of the provider (Netflix or BBMP).

And actually, I've had very good luck with new releases being shipped immediately when available...and all others have been available in store for my exchange.

Thanks for the clarification. I have been on the fence since it came out but never really took the time to see what's included. I'll probably pull the trigger on it now.

I just received a shipping notice on a new release which has been in my queue for two weeks....this is entirely acceptable for popular new releases on DVD..I am encouraged......Now, if they would just fix the queue bugs.....

My Rental... how to delete?
