EU, broadcasters give thumbs-up to P2P startup
While ISPs in the US continue to work against the use of P2P apps and broadcasters continue to experiment with restrictive DRM schemes, Europe is making some major moves in the other direction.
BitTorrent compatible, EU blessed and financed - Europeans are usually smarter to realize where a unified standard is to everybody's advantage (GSM, anybody?)

It might have nothing to do with hidef from the start, but has a good chance to be the MP3 vs. DVD-A/SACD in the video world.
