Renewals & Cancelled Shows

No cancellations in network primetime yet. I am mildly surprised because I see some pretty likely candidates but I do not see any announcements yet.

What is it with NBC and having multiple series that share a common name? Now it seems to be Chicago this and Chicago that. L&O is splattered all over syndication. Changing the venues and re-using the same old stories isn't all that.

I think we have enough drama in the real world that we could all benefit from a lot less contrived drama.

Now you're putting out Fake News!
No, just re-blogging what CBS is spewing.

They're right about it being different than the other Star Treks. It is different in that it utterly lacks any shred of Roddenberry's vision.

That CBS is throwing good money after bad and trying to make Discovery their "killer app" is going to be a huge problem for them.

I'd rather have the Drama shows than the supposed "Reality" shows.

CBS Renews Star Trek Discovery for Season 2

Star Trek: Discovery Renewed for Second Season!

S~
Of course it did ....
CBS wouldn't go out on a limb with the Internet ONLY ( and at a COST to top it all) ... and let it drop after a year.

Its a shame because it could be getting a TON more viewers if it was available every week on your TV.

Good or bad, when you go with an entirely different media and a story line that doesn't follow what show followers expect, I'm surprised they have numbers for it at all.

Sorry, I get the Channel OTA and with my Sat package, I'm not gonna pay AGAIN for the SAME channel.

If you ignore the Discovery debacle, CBS All Access offers a much more comprehensive list of popular titles than their broadcast offering. Cheers, Frasier, MacGyver (both incarnations) and I Love Lucy are all loaded up. They even appear to have most, if not all, of the Brady Bunch!
