All,

I was recently upgraded from the Stealth to the Winegard. I lost 1 channel and gained another. However, I was there when they opened the box ( I had to help them figure out how it mounted to the pole )that contained the antenna, and there wasnt any diplexor or anything. My question is, what besides the antenna is needed to be done when going from Stealth to Winegard? I am hoping that maybe that will bring in all my channels (if they screwed something up). Thanks.

Sam

The winegard runs off power from the receiver. Unless they switched the outdoor diplexer when they hooked it up, it may not be receiving power and is therefore operating in nonamplified mode which has a much lower range.

If you can, take a look at the diplexer already installed...there should be lines drawn on it connecting the inputs and the ouput labled 'DC Pass'. The Stealth is powered in the same manner as the Sensar II.
