The planes trailer looked like car- in planes, but would probably be good (had eyes in the cockpits like cars)...

Getting stoked for John Carter... just watched a trailer from "Nothing but Trailers" and have a 3D trailer on one of my newer discs.
Oh yeah, Im also looking forward to Amazing Spider Man and the Hobbit.
Getting my set calibrated in 2D and 3D modes in about 3 weeks, then Im jumping back into 3D again. Ive also heard Hugo was pretty epic.

John Carter rocked! I will be pre-ordering it when it becomes available for sure... saw 3D trailers for Spiderman, Prometheus, The Hobbit & The Avengers ... looking forward to all.

Im fixing to start buying again, have Polar Express 3D (never seen the movie at all somehow) at home, watching prices on Hugo, Immortals, Tintin, Darkest Hour, 3 Musketeers, Underworld and Bayformers 3.

Looking from reviews, the Avengers movie is epic but the 3D is "blah", will be curious to see how other reviews come thru on the blu.
I tend to ignore reviews especially when it comes to 3D as most reviewers have an agenda (check out the Titanic thread at Avs)...

Yeah, before I buy the blu I tend to wait on reviews from HTF, AVS and Highdefdigest.
The theater reviewers seem to hate 3D, but Im always skeptical of conversions. Immortals was an OK conversion, but all being said, I feel I should have just watched the 2D of that.

The Same press release also mentions "Dial M for Murder is the first of several classic 3D films to be released, with the long-awaited, much requested House of Wax expected next"

Not sure this one is good news. Apparently after making Dial M for Murder in 3d, Hitchcock was planning on doing Rear Window in 3d. His notes and plans for this were found, and now apparently some one is actually working on a conversion.

To be released in Theaters and then Blu-ray 3d.

Just got back from Spiderman 3D. I personally liked it a lot, and thought it was the best one out of the 4. I was not a big fan of Tobey, or some of the ways they did not stay true to the story in the first 3. Also read a few reviews where people felt the 3D was not good, even though it was shot in 3D. Bullcrap! Of course it did not have crap flying out at you, but I thought the depth was good at times and the 3D kicked in when you needed it in a scene.
