WalMart mini-Black-Friday sale. Wanted two or three A2's, but was limited to one per customer. Snagged one. 40 were reportedly available. 25-30 of those were standing in line to be paid for at 8:05. Pallet still had five unclaimed sitting on it at 8:10. Don't know if there were more in the back or not.

Would have bought HD DVDs as well for $15 a shot, but sales staff said none of those were shipped to this particular store.

Got the HDDVD player and picked up the ACER laptop for my son's christmas. I'll probally get him a wireless notebook mouse and have him open that first, then a laptop bag and finally he'll open the laptop.:D
A quick question though.
Between DISHHD and PS3, i am out of available HDMI ports on my tv. Will component out work fine with this toshiba HD-A2 and still provide 1080I and still upconvert sddvd?

standard-size 5" I assume. At least that's what my HD-A1 has.

Well, I might have to switch DISHHD to component but I'd rather not because the Picture Quality is already bad enough.

Get an HDMI switchbox and use HDMI for all three devices.
